Ophelia Redpath naît à Cambridge en 1965. Comme elle le dit elle-même, elle puise sa force dans son héritage artistique puisque ses grands-parents, Leonard Campbell-Taylor et Brenda Moore, sont tous deux artistes peintres. Sa mère est musicienne et pianiste et son père grand littéraire reconnu à Cambridge. De 1983 à 1984, elle suit des cours d’art. Elle étudie ensuite la musique et l'éducation au Collège Homerton, mais abandonne au bout d’un an afin de commencer une carrière de peintre à plein temps. Depuis elle expose régulièrement à Londres et à Cambridge où elle vit. Voir son site ici.
